ORA LogoGreydan Communications is thrilled to welcome the Ohio Recruiters Association (ORA) into the Greydan Communications family! The Ohio Recruiters Association (formerly OAESP) is a non-profit organization serving the search and recruitment industry by offering best practices and educational opportunities for their members.  The organization is comprised of member firms, with areas of specialization ranging from information technology to health care to telecommunications to sales and marketing. In February 2013, the Ohio Recruiters Association changed it’s name from the Ohio Association of Executive Search Professionals (OAESP). In December 2005, the Ohio Association of Executive Search Professionals changed it’s name from The Mid-Ohio Association of Executive Search Professionals (MOAESP).  MOAESP was originally incorporated on March 5, 1997, but has its roots in a chapter of the Ohio Association of Personnel Services (OAPS), the Mid-Ohio Chapter, which was re-formed in December, 1994.  Membership, at that time, was open to OAPS member firms in Coshocton, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Hocking, Knox, Licking, Madison, Marion, Muskingum, Perry, Pickaway, Ross, and Union counties, “and OAPS members in any other counties who would select the Mid-Ohio Chapter as their designated local Chapter.”  The original Directors of the Corporation of the MOAESP were Marilyn Wallace, Howard Roof, Florence Lang, and Angela Walters.  The MOAESP is no longer affiliated with the OAPS, and membership in that organization is not required for membership in the ORA. Greydan Communications will be handling the day-to-day administration, event planning, membership maintenance, financial record-keeping, as well as all other association management services, for ORA.  Renae Davies will serve as Executive Director and handle all correspondence with members, potential members and sponsors.
